Taylor's First Letter from the MTC

This is just a portion of Taylor's letter. The rest was specific to each of us at home and/or answering questions. I figured that part would be of no interest to you. He seems to be doing really well and mom is doing MUCH better. : ) We love you all. Ter

"As for me, i am doin well here at the mtc. i really like the devotionals with the general authorities. the language is coming along fairly well i guess. i am able to pray, testify, and say some phrases and words. so it's coming along. i have seen a bunch of people from school here. i saw brandon huckstep, devan anderson, chad thompson, and ashton beagley. i haven't seen kurt vanwagenen yet. esta bien. ya, this week i actually got to participate in a blessing for one of our hermanas. Hma. Bohne was sick and we found out that she might have to have surgery to remove a cist in her leg! it was really neat, and i felt that everything was goin to be alright and work out for her! i have a cool story to. babe ruth was in a game and it was the bottom of the 9th. there were 2 outs and the yanks were down by 2 with 2 on base. babe got down in the count 0-2. the next pitch
he hit a game winning homerun. after the game a reporter asked how babe felt after he failed the first two swings. babe said, "those first two strikes weren't failure...they were effort toward success!" think about this and how you can apply it to your lives. i love you all and pray for u everyday! can't wait to hear from you all!"

Grandma is here and I will try and attempt to teach her how to post but I'm not sure how that will go... she is fighting me on putting phone number in her phone! Easter in Germany

While many of you enjoyed warm weather on Easter, we had a snowy Easter in Germany. In true Kelsey fashion, she's sticking out her tongue in this picture. She does that when it's cold or windy outside.

We thought of you guys and what you would be doing for Easter and we missed you. The holidays can be hard when we're so far away from family. So this year, we were lucky enough to spend it with our good friends Mike & Anna who just moved to Germany for 6 months with the DOD. They're only 4 hours away now (they were living in Spain)!

Tally and I hope that you are all doing great and had a wonderful Easter. May we continue to remember the sacrifices the Lord has made in our behalf.

This is how I spent my Easter!
I am one of the first people,I appear between 31-35 seconds, I am wearing an orange sweatshirt, black pants, and a white helmet.
This is the 8th annual Bring Your Own Big Wheels it takes place in San Francisco (well where else would this happen)? It was an absolute blast, and I didn't even sustain an injury.
I hope you all had a great Easter. I am currently at grandma and grandpa's on spring break, just to give you a little update.

Here is a little post for those who don't check my (aubrey) blog. This is what the Robert Jr. and Dave Snow families did on the saturday before Easter. We missed all of you who weren't here with us. Hopefully one Easter we can get together and have a HUGE family hunt, like the good old days! Probably won't ever happen, but I can dream can't I?

A New Chapter in the Lang Family

Welcome to the world of blogging. It dawned on me the other day that with our family getting so big, we needed a family blog. This is meant to be a place where all the emails, communication, pictures, updates, etc. come together to keep us all connected.

If you don't know how to blog, don't get overwhelmed. Tiffany, Holly, Aubrey, Amber, or I can help you do a post. It's easy once you do it. Basically you'll sign in (you have to create a google username & password), Click on New Post, Create a title, type the body of the blog and you're done! If you want to add a picture, make sure the photo is loaded on your computer first and you know which folder it's located under. Click on the picture icon, find the picture, and click add photo. I think they come out best when you do them large, center but it's your post so feel free to do it your way.

I hope this will be a fun, unifying experience. Oh, and please leave a comment on the blog when you visit!
