I thought this was pretty cool. My dad was invited to a July 4th party on Malibu Beach at Wildman's and took pictures with Chris Chelios of the NHL's Detroit Red Wings. Here he is with Chris and the Stanley Cup.



He said at one point in the party, he was sitting down waiting to talk to Chris and he thought that the guy next to him had a familiar voice. He looked and Tom Hanks was sitting next to him! My dad, hanging out at Hollywood parties.

While we are all focused on protecting marriage and busy working on the passage of Proposition 8, our State Legislators have quietly passed more homosexual legislation.


This legislation is focused at indoctrinating our children.

year as Harvey Milk Day, and would designate that date as having
special significance in public schools and educational institutions and
would encourage those entities to conduct suitable commemorative

As the first openly gay City Supervisor of San Francisco, Harvey Milk encouraged gay right's activism. He was killed in 1978.


AB 2567 is now sitting on Governor Schwarzenegger's desk waiting for his signature. We need you to voice your opinion and tell the Governor not to sign this bill. It is important that you call today.

Hey fam, I don't know if you all know this yet, but I am riding my bicycle across the U.S. with a couple of friends. We are taking a rest day in Chico, Ca right now. We hope to be in Oregon in the next 4 days. Everything is going well, we are carrying a lot of weight and are averaging 60 miles a day. We have already covered about 280 miles, and we have had many friends give us a place to stay! Just wanted to give you all a little update, I hope all is well.

Wasatch Back Relay

Yeah!!!!! After 29 hours and 20 mins, 180 miles, and 2 hours of sleep, our team of 12 called the "Queen of Soles" crossed the finish line. And can you believe it we already signed up for next year.

Dave Earns His Woodbadge

Dave earned his Woodbadge in Scouting. This is a very intensive award to earn. It takes about 18 months to accomplish it and 1 week of camping and learning leadership skills. Once you earn your award professional scouters who wear shorts and knee high socks show up and congratulate you. Congratulations Dave we are very proud of you. Thanks to Grandpa and Grandma for coming again.

What a Great Day

Adam went through the temple over the weekend. Thanks to Grandpa and Grandma and the Watson's for celebrating with us.

Nickel fam does Race for the Cure

Kirk, Jordan, Nate, Megan (Tay's girlfriend), and I ran in Race for the Cure on 5/10. It was a lot of fun. Jordan finished 11th place in 18 min. and Kirk was 12 seconds behind in 14th place. Those little speed demons! Megan and Nate also had great race times and mine was a 10 min. per mile pace. I was happy with that in my old age! My goal was just to run the whole time (I have a bum hip) and I did. Go Nickel's!

Congrats to Aubrey!!

Aubrey graduated from the University of Utah yesterday with a bachelors in Exercise and Sports Science. We are so proud of her, great job!
